Here at pneumatic conveying we pride ourselves in supplying a complete process. We can offer completely bespoke control units that fully optimise batch production to continues conveying. We offer SCADA, HMI, Inverter and PLC options to control your system.
If manual is your preferred choice the entire system can be operated using via switches on a control panel so that the operator can dictate the speed of production.
What is SCADA
Supervisory control and data acquisition this is used to over view and take real time reading of the system that allows for easy control and computer visualisation of the system.
What is HMI
Human machine interface is used to replace buttons, a touchscreen panel that allows the control of the system, display warnings and operation parameters. That can all be transferred over to a Scada system.
What is PLC
Programmable Logic Control is the brains of the operation, where, the system can be programmed to operate to the customers desire. This is where automation is controlled and data collected in the PLC feeds into the HMI or Scada systems.
What are Inverters
Inverters (Frequency Inverters, Variable Speed Drives) can play a key role in optimising a system. Pneumatic conveying is a dynamic process where pressure and feed rates can fluctuate wildly. Having a variable speed drive offers the ability to change the speed of equipment based on feed rates and pressures. (This can save huge amounts of energy over the space of a year).
